Are You Dreaming of a Hands-On Medical Career?

Compassionate people who enjoy helping others are great candidates for a Medical Assisting career!
Can you see yourself wearing scrubs and a stethoscope, working as part of a medical team?

Medical Assistants work with doctors and other healthcare professionals to provide quality care for patients. They take vital signs, draw blood, and perform lab tests. They also file patients’ medical records, fill out insurance forms, answer telephones, and schedule patient appointments.

Medical Assistants are in High Demand

Employment is expected to grow much faster than average, with excellent job opportunities. Students in the Medical Assistant program learn high demand skills that encourage employers to hire them for entry-level positions in doctors’ offices, urgent care settings and walk-in and community health centers, and hospitals.

A New Career in Seven Months

Graduates can begin Medical Assisting careers following short-term training. Students who attend the program five days a week complete in seven months; those attending three nights a week complete in fifteen months.

Small Classes Provide More Personal Attention

Classes of only 15-20 students enable Instructors to support individual learning needs. MTTI students practice hands-on skills on actual volunteers in our clinical lab setting. As a student, you‘ll have the opportunity to earn additional certificates in EKG (electrocardiography) and phlebotomy (blood draws). You’ll also be prepared to sit for the Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) exam.

Certification

Graduates are eligible to sit for the Registered Medical Assistant Examination offered by the American Medical Technologists (AMT). The RMA is a highly respected (voluntary) credential, recognized by medical practices throughout the United States.
